Sugarcane

The harvested cane is processed with the removal of its stem, which is smashed, releasing its concentrated juice through boiling, resulting in the syrup from which sugar is crystallized, acquiring as a final by product molasses or honey. Brazil is, today, the main sugarcane producer in the world. Its products are widely used in the production of sugar, fuel alcohol, and, more recently, biodiesel. Asiamericais actively in participation with the main producers and suppliers of rice in Brazil.

Lemon grass

It is a plant used in popular medicine, and for this purpose when its leaves are used in an infusion they provide febrifuge, perspirant, analgesic, calming, anti-depressant, diuretic and expectorant properties, besides being bactericidal, hepato protective, antispasmodic, peripheral circulation stimulant, and stomach and lactation stimulant.

Guarana

Amazonian companies have increased their production to meet the growing international demand for products made from the guarana seed.

Guarana is rich in functional substances, among them caffeine, theobromine, theophylline, and others. Some effects attributed to guarana consumption are as an aphrodisiac, having a tonic action, being astringent, febrifuge, diuretic, good for treating physical and mental fatigue, immunizing, antioxidant, combats obesity and improves blood pressure, etc.

Honey

Several factors favor the production of honey in the country. Among them we can mention the favorable climatic conditions in almost all of its territory in addition to its extensive occupied areas with mixed natural vegetation or by agricultural cultures that tend to diversify and increase honey quality. We also have a greater tolerance for pests and diseases given our Africanized bees.
